Tyre Changing
Tyre Changing

With wear and tear from use, the Tyre tread melts away and the Tyre becomes flattered over time, thus reducing its traction control and leading to dangerous skidding over the road. It is recommended to replace the Tyres once they reach 3mm in depth to stay safe. We can help you to change your Tyres in a better way at SATC.

Wheel Balancing
Wheel Balancing

Tyre wheel Balancing is an important aspect of vehicle maintenance. The Tyre will roll smoothly when all areas of the wheel-tyre unit are as equal in weight as possible. This helps it wear evenly, for the longest life. Balancing also contributes to ride comfort: Imbalanced Tyres will wobble or hop up and down, which causes vibration.

Oil Change
Oil Change

Motor oil helps keep your vehicle's engine running smoothly while reducing the wear on all its moving parts. Over time, oil begins to break down and wear out, making it less effective at lubricating your engine and transferring heat. When it’s time for an oil change, Star Arabian has all your needs covered.

Computerized Wheel Alignment
Computerized Wheel Alignment

Wheels and Tyres must be aligned. If they aren't, you could be damaging your Tyres and affecting the vehicle's handling characteristics. If the suspension is out of alignment, there is uneven pressure on the Tyres that can cause your car to work harder on the Tyres than it needs to. This happens because there is more resistance between the Tyre and the road surface. That resistance can cause the Tyres to wear unevenly with the Tyres ultimately becoming worn on one side. It’s dangerous to drive on uneven Tyres, and it could force you to purchase Tyres sooner than you would have needed to with a proper alignment.

Common signs your car is out of alignment include:

  • There is uneven wear on your Tyres.
  • Your steering wheel is off-center.
  • Your steering wheel often shakes and/or vibrates.
  • Your car frequently pulls to the left or right.
Nitrogen Filling
Nitrogen Filling

Most drivers agree that regularly checking tire health is essential. Numerous factors, like road and weather conditions, play a significant role in the wear and tear and the overall health of your Tyres. The gas you fill your Tyres with also plays a role.

If the car is in regular use, you will need to get the normal air refilled every week or ten days, depending on the vehicle and the driving conditions. However, Tyres filled with nitrogen can last up to a month before you hit the refilling station again.

Nitrogen causes less wear and tear to the Tyres than air. Nitrogen is dry air without the presence of oxygen. It is free of moisture, leading to fewer temperature changes in the Tyres, which helps maintain tire condition over extended periods. This is highly beneficial for speed racers. Due to its properties, nitrogen is used in heavy vehicles, aircraft, racing cars, and heavy equipment. In the context of regular use, Nitrogen’s a good choice for long drives, rally racing, and driving in places with very high or low temperatures.

Tyre Rotation
Tyre Rotation

As a vehicle owner, some maintenance tasks need to be performed on schedule every time they’re due. Tyre rotations are one of those tasks. At the same time, they’re easy to overlook. If you’re not paying attention, you might not even notice any downsides to skipping a rotation.

Tyre rotations are switching your Tyres from one wheel to another, in other words, rotating them. By changing the Tyres around, you compensate for the uneven wear and tear from being used in one position. For example, the front left tire might get moved to the back right, reversing the wear pattern.

As a result, your tread wears more evenly across the Tyre's surface, which keeps them better balanced. It also prevents you from prematurely wearing bald spots towards one edge of the Tyre or the other.

Tyres are often rotated from front to back and left to right. A typical rotation pattern might move the front right tire to the back left, the rear left Tyre to the front left, the front left Tyre to the back right, and the back right Tyre to the front right.

You should perform a rotation every 5,000 to 7,500 miles for both front- and rear-wheel drive vehicles. The exact number will vary from model to model, and it’s wise to check your owner’s manual for a precise figure.
